Wake up, Buy Here, Pay Here people. It's a beautiful day. Go grab yourself another cup of joe and say hello to Jim and Michelle Rhodes on the Buy Here, Pay Here morning show. Take it away, you two. look happy monday happy monday happy monday week happy to have you folks with us today and uh got a lot of stuff going on in a couple days we're gonna be away the second half of the week so monday and tuesday all of our clients and people that are part of v8 they got an email Yeah. Yesterday that just said, if you need anything. Sure. Yep. Got a wedding at a state. So it's, you know, happy time. You get to go see some family, that kind of stuff. Good weekend. Just, you know, did Jim mostly work. That's what he does. Wow. He does it really well. I'm in that critical place. It's just like we talk to our dealers all the time about that thing about scaling your business and how to step away from self-employment, build your business. And we're just right there, right? We've just got a lot of stuff that's growing and has a chance to scale. And so it's just an intense time to get those things tipped over. And so, yeah, we're dealing with the same stuff dealers deal with all the time. Absolutely. What have we got for stuff that's coming up? Well, I need to make sure folks know we had announced a couple weeks ago that we were going to do a drawing today for that sales department survey. And unfortunately, we had a glitch on the email. And so I'm going to put that back. Like only about a third of the people that were supposed to get it got it. Right, and it had to do with the unsubscribe feature. So when we discovered the unsubscribe thing wasn't working right, we pulled it off. So we're just going to delay it. It's still happening. And so, you know, we've got quite a few, but we just wanted to be able to... Because honestly, when you're trying to collect data, the more data points you get, the better holistic view of the thing you're asking about that happens. And so we just want to try to get to the rest of the... of the list of people that we were going to send stuff out to. Yeah, and those folks who are out there who have it in their inbox and didn't take the survey, we can issue that. Yeah, do it. Yeah, get it filled out. It's pretty interesting. It's a self-assessment. It's like just kind of look at your own department and identify where you think your strong points and your weak points are. Good morning, Tommy. Tommy, Pennsylvania is hot and humid. That's a... It must be apocalyptic times up there. It's almost always humid when it's hot up there, I believe. It's probably, yeah. Certainly more so than here in northern Utah. But yeah, glad to have you folks here. Got a couple of other quick things. We got... that August 1st event, which we're going to talk plenty about. We got Troy Springs recorded a conversation to share. So it's not a live conversation with Troy. It was one that was recorded late last week. And so we'll be playing parts of it and just kind of discussing some of the things that Troy talked about. And I think that like for today, there was almost an hour's worth of recording and Cause you guys ended up talking about multiple subjects. We got started on marketing. Yeah. And so most of what we're going to be doing is just about the event that's coming up and kind of like, you know, yeah, there's just the event. We'll bring back some of those conversations. Cause he went through some really in-depth stuff on the marketing side. I was listening to it this morning and I was like, okay, okay. And it's, and it's, we'll bring it back. Like you said, the marketing parts, It's a different approach than we hear. with most of the people that are in our world of buy here, pay here to marketing. It's, it's, it's, um, it's a different, it's a much, much interest. It's a very interesting, holistic approach. So we'll talk about that. Yeah. It's holistic, comprehensive. They have like a team of 45 people and they work with Highline, you know, uh, franchise dealers and independents as well. Yeah. Yeah. So they do, they do Highline stuff and very comprehensive ad campaigns. And some independent. Yeah. Yeah. So he's a guy who was a general manager, started this company called Dealer World several years ago. And so that's the company that has about 45 people. They also have a company called Dealer Funnel, I think, where he's a co-founder. But anyway, going through all this stuff with his background was pretty interesting. It really was. And, you know, I find a particular interest in it because... Even though, you know, you talk about, hey, Michelle, Michelle comes from marketing. And so it's like, yes, but it's one thing that if you're in marketing, you understand that to say that, it's like, what part of marketing? Because there's so much that's involved in marketing. And so, you know, it's funny because the conversations we've had with some people have they like and what kind of marketing and what part of marketing and you know because some people will say well I work in marketing but what you're doing is you're just creating ads and placing them and that's a very different thing than all the rest of the part of its marketing so But, um, I, Jim just had this conversation, uh, one-on-one with Troy and, and it's like, well, Michelle would want me to ask. And, and, um, and I, it's just, it's some of the stuff that, that he talks about, uh, on that subject, um, which I'm looking forward to, uh, just thinking this morning, it would be an interesting thing to bring his insights and others insights and kind of create this holistic, um, conversation. Yeah. around it. But the big question you were asking was about mailers. Jim Collison, M.D. : Yeah. Yeah. Well, because, you know, most of our buy-here-pay-your-dealers are out there doing Google and Facebook. And he's like, Absolutely, I do mailers. He's just, yeah. Jim Collison, M.D. : Very comprehensive thing. So it depends on the audience and depends on lots of stuff. But yeah, it's, it was a good conversation. So we'll bring that back. One other quick thing. There are some new we've conceptualized something that is outstanding for this industry and it's, we'll, we'll map it and we'll, we'll get some, uh, designers to give us some feedback on it, but, uh, we're not prepared to map it all out today, but look for that to come. We're, we're excited about what it can mean for dealers. Okay. Okay. I, that was really, that it was even cryptic for me. Cause, I was like, we talked about a lot of stuff. I was. But we talked about a lot of stuff the other day. Well, let's just say, on the technology side, and I think this is all through the lens of, as a former dealer myself, and we can get around to our main subject, but I think as a former dealer myself and having some understanding of accounting and operational flows and all of it, and having now new awareness about the technology factors in play here, I have conceptualized something that is... when it's created, will be a difference maker. Well, and the cool thing about what it is that we're building is we've already sent it. I mean, we talked a little bit more about how it can be used and a little bit fleshed out a little bit more about how we want it to look and feel and all of that. But the idea is already with developers. And so a team's been being put together now on one piece of it. And so that's, yeah. So it's, it's, it's, it's, let's just say, you know, Jim, um, especially is creates things for solely for the benefit of dealers, right? and their customers. And so it's like this would help dealers. And so I'm usually the one that's like, and how? Explain to me how. And so it's like, yep. So there's some stuff that's coming. I had mentioned this morning. It's like, let's talk about it. You're like, I know already. Because I kind of believe personally that when you have something that you envision, right? You know, there's a lot of people that say, don't talk about, don't talk about, don't talk about it. And one of the reasons why they say don't talk about it is because someone may steal it. Well, for crying out loud, I mean, if we talk about it online, a nationally syndicated podcast that is, you know, that globally, globally, sorry. Yeah. Because we've had, we have listeners from all across the world. Um, but when we talk about it there, it's kind of like, well, there's the mark and you know, it's like this, this is something that we're doing and, and, and, um, you balance that against, you know, there are people in your circle who say, man, you're, you got a lot of irons in the fire. That's a big vision. And, It is a huge vision. It seems to be getting bigger all the time. It does, but it's just, it's, yeah, it's getting clearer and better and more beneficial all the time. And if I get in a room with a whiteboard for somebody, I hope they connect all the dots of why all the pieces are kind of integrated with one another. But I think the main thing is it's just, it's, it's about how to get information in front of dealers so they can run their businesses better and make better decisions. And we're like fully prepared to, and this is just as we've been going with different pieces of this it's like we're fully prepared it's like if it's something that we want to do that we know that there's already something out there that's that could you know you add a little overlay or whatever and it creates the thing we're going to reach out to those people because I don't want to re reconstruct the wheel if if no one wants to to step in and say yes let's let's collaborate let's do a joint venture whatever um uh you know at that point we'll determine all right do we have the ability and resources to create it ourselves right now right so um just know that the things that that we that we um have on our overall arching next two-year roadmap it's like we're there's some great stuff that's coming down the pipe so okay enough of that so uh oh good morning george so glad that you hey george yeah yeah really really appreciate um White hat coaching. Yeah, George. See, you're just an example of the thing. And people are going, wait, I thought that was Jim and Michelle. Yeah. Okay. So do you want to do any intro into, and I can kind of background and make sure. And I think I say it in the video, but I, I met Troy spring recently through Tracy Myers. I knew that Troy was a, a partner and part of the massive event that they're doing in Myrtle Beach in August. So I just said, Hey, let's meet Troy and talk to him. So I had a chance to talk to him a couple of times. Yeah. So the, the event in Myrtle Beach and first part of August is, is they're doing their event in conjunction with Virginia's IA, Carolina, sorry, Carolina's IADA conference. Right. And, and so it's the day that, It's like the first day, August 1st. Yeah. I mean, it's the day before the official start of the, or like during the day and they have their, probably their cocktail hour. Cause the most of them start the evening of whatever. And so this is an event that we've, we heard about first from a dealer friend of ours, Greg King. Right. And you know, we were having dinner with him and his wife. I think I mentioned Greg in the videos. Yeah. So we're having dinner with Greg and his wife. Jim's got such a great memory. Mine, not so good. So we're having dinner with them and we're kind of talking about some things that we were conceptualizing and that was around dealer masterminds. And, and he says, oh my gosh, I've gone to this event and it is so powerful. I mean, he found that it would just, it was like super beneficial. And he says, I don't know if it sounded like it had been a few years before. And he's like, I don't know if he's still doing it, but you know, you should reach out to him. So it took us a while. Yeah. Well, yeah. I mean, I think everybody's always going different directions. I think with what Greg mentioned is, you know, I think they do it once a year with the conference. He said, man, if I could do something like that every month, I'd be there. Like that's the richest thing that he's experienced. I think that's good feedback. Yeah. And so the event though is, does, does, does Troy kind of describe what happens at the event? Okay. So should we just go ahead and play? All right. So let me do that. happy to have a chance to introduce our viewers to a gentleman named troy spring I met troy recently through tracy myers and happy to have him here troy is the founder of dealer world and the co-founder of dealer funnel so we'll have a chance to learn a little bit about that as we go here troy but for today I wanted to have a chance to talk to you about this unfair advantage mastermind group that's coming up unfair advantage south carolina you know of course we invited tracy on to our podcast recently talked about that and and he shared that you were a partner and part of the you know the yes I should explain in advance it's a little choppy because I use the ai editing tool which takes out a lot of the pauses and ai helps but you know yeah so well and it's well side note um I don't know. So many people out there, they're like, I don't like listening to myself speak and recorded. They don't like the sound of it, but then they also pick up on all of the things that they say, like, you know, and, um, and, and, and yeah. And, and, and, and so AI is wonderful, but sometimes it makes it a little bit choppy. So yeah, that's it. the marketing arm behind what's happening there. I want to have a chance to talk to you about the event itself and get a feel for what dealers could expect if they make that trip. Yeah. Hey, first and foremost, thanks for having me. I'm glad Tracy connected us. I know you and I have spent a little bit of time just getting to know each other before we started recording this and just really appreciate you having me. Thanks a bunch. Of course. So yeah, what can you expect? My gosh, what Tracy know really dreamt up 11 years 12 years ago and and you and I have been you know and again I think I shared with you how lucky I feel that tracy invited me along on this path as a you know co-moderator with him and a partner in unfair advantage man he had this idea of kind of doing an unconference right and that meant like not having you know you know, really a lot of booths and a lot of speakers and things. And we've kind of morphed into, we do have some booths and we do have a couple of speakers, but really the general gist of what we do is still very, very transparent and nature of what Tracy's initial goal was. And that was, Show up here and leave with true actionable items. Show up at Unfair Advantage and talk about what you want to talk about, right? So if a dealer's in the audience and says, man, I'm struggling with service. You know, I'm trying to get my service up and running and I've only got two bays and I'm an independent or whatever the case might be. The beautiful part about what Tracy and I are doing there is we really allow that conversation to take its own path. We allow a ton of audience participation. So we're looking, we're moderating, right? Like I just said, we're not co-speakers, we're co-moderators. So the goal for us is to have a group, you know, I think last year we had a little over a hundred people in that room. It was, it was a, it was a good group of people, all dealers, you know, for the most part. And, you know, We'll have a guy raise his hand and say, Hey man, tell me more about your service. Tell me more about where you're at. Do you have room to expand? You know, what, what is your hours per hour? What's your effective labor rate? Do you even know what those things mean? Do you want my help? There's, there's a couple of things that I really, really truly appreciate about what it is that they're trying to create here. Cause there's, there's one thing to be talked at, right? And even in some of the conferences, they do just a fantastic job bringing information to dealers, and they try to do a Q&A at the end. But it's usually subject matter expert gives their address, or a subject matter panel gives their insights, and everyone just sits around and listens. Mm-hmm. And there is a lot of value in that. And that is probably the... It's been an effective way of people learning. But this is interactive learning. This is interactive discussion. And so whereas... A presenter or because usually the presenter, because you've done that quite a few times, you get to kind of lead the conversation here, the questions and all of that about what you think is going to be important for people to hear. And, you know, I just have to say, honey, you're usually just spot on. So thank you. But in this kind of forum, it's like, what are the things? And there might be stuff that comes in. Like he was just saying, what about this? What about this? What about this? What about this? And he talks about that as the video goes on. But I would say that you're right. That's they... If you think about a 20 group format, what it's supposed to do is a peer solution, dealers helping each other out. And if a 20 group room is full of 20 dealers, now this room has five times that many people. So the idea that if I have a problem, there's somebody else in the room who created a solution for that. They dealt with that problem already. And here's how I solved it. Yes. And, and, you know, one thing I love about these kinds of things as well is, um, is it's kind of, it's, um, uh, You know, when you go to a conference, you can have seven people from your market in the same room learning the same thing. And in 20 groups, you know, some people get really proprietary and it's like, I don't want my competition and I don't, you know, all of this kind of stuff. This is a hybrid of like, you might be at a table. Right. with someone who is in your market. And it's like, just let that, let that stuff go. How do we get better at like operational things? I mean, you know, and there might be marketing stuff and things like that, but who, who wouldn't want everyone to be better at operational? And you know, how do I, how do I do this? The guy who competes with you or the woman who competes with you. But why? Because you're, you're, you're, you're banking on them failing. I'm just saying that's, that's the mindset of a number of people. Should we go back? All right. Let's go back. where we kind of open up the day by telling everybody, hey, this is a safe space. No one gets judged. You can ask anything and make your time worthwhile here. If you're struggling with marketing, ask that question. Ask everybody what's working for you. If you're struggling with server. So you kind of get the point. It's very audience driven and participation on what they want to talk about. And then not only are Tracy and I kind of saying, hey, in my experience, this is what I'm But we try to keep that a little bit to a minimum so that we're not upstaging the audience, who is really also there to say, I'm a dealer as well. And here's what I've been doing. And by the way, I'm happy to help. So it's a version of dealers helping dealers. And it's a large room. You said about 100 you had last year. Hopefully, you'll have more this time around. But it's good to have both independent retail and buy-your-pay-your dealers in that room. And so they all just kind of poly up whatever their issue of the day is and get help from other dealers. Yeah. You know, another way Tracy kind of, I love it. Actually, I should say this more often too, but another way that Tracy explains it is it's kind of like a 20 group, but without a composite. You know, it's it's getting a whole bunch of people together. And, you know, the more I think about it, it might have been more like it was a lot of people last year. So, you know, when when you think about that type of room and that type of energy, that's, again, why we're moderating, because, you know, somebody like me who loves to talk will just keep talking. And so we've got to kind of go, hey, John, that was a really good idea. Bill, what do you think? And we're really just trying to make sure that it's a very limited amount of time. We've got a day, right, you know, or so. So we're really looking for. massive amounts of really digestible, actionable items that people can take back. We call them writer downers. We have for the last 11 years. We'll say, Hey guys, that was a writer down. John's right about that. I like that. It's a writer downer. I really, really do. That's I, I may Tracy, I'll send you, you know, it's like, I may use that. Yeah. So, okay. Just saying, write that down and go back to your store and do that. Yeah. So, you know, another little thing we call them are nuggets. Like, hey, man, that was a good nugget, man. Write that one down because that nugget is a writer downer. So we're really just trying to moderate people to get comfortable talking and not just be in the audience and keep quiet all day. It's a fun it's a it's a it's a different atmosphere. I think what we've created is really cool. It's been a lot. It's been some masterminds that have come around since. But I kind of think Tracy's mastermind idea 12 years ago is kind of the original one. Nice. Yeah, I love it. I mean, I've heard really great things about the format. I know North Carolina dealer Greg King won't mind me mentioning that. He's the one who told me, he said, man, if I could go to one of those things like, you know, frequently, I would do that like that. Yeah, Greg asked a lot. He's like, can we do it more often? Yeah. I love Greg. Greg's fantastic. Yeah, he's somebody we've gotten to know and I quite enjoy, but yeah, he shared with me, man, I would, I would, you know, do that. That was some of the most valuable, most valuable day that I, you know, I've spent. So obviously a great testimony for what you guys are doing. And it's on the front end of the CIADA conference, right? Which is August 1st through 4th. So you guys do your event on that opening day, August 1st, and then dealers should come for that and stay around or vice versa, show up for your event as we're coming to the conference. Yeah, I think initially, way back when we started, we were kind of like part of the first day. And then they realized, like, we had a lot of audience. You know, again, to be blunt, Tracy's a celebrity. You know, at the end of the day, he'd hate that I said that. He'll hate it. But, you know, I just think so much of him. It's the hat, too. He's very dynamic. He is. He's kind of a celebrity. It's more than that. Well, it's more than the hat. But when we were talking to Tracy, he's like, he's, he's has said that he, when he's at the dealership or one of the dealerships that he's, he's walking around and people are saying, you know, where's the guy. And he can, he knows that people are looking for the guy, but looking for the guy with the hat. And so the minute that he can be in the office, walking around doing stuff and no one like, recognizes them the same way they do the moment that he goes back and gets the hat on and comes out and greets people it's like boom that people people um they it's like they recognize the hat that red white and blue uncle sam hat yeah and I follow him on social media so we've never seen him in an event like this but what I see from tracy and it kind of reminds me it's why troy and I spent some time before this conversation talking about marketing and events and promotions and and what I see in tracy somebody who's an energizer like he gets people excited and builds builds enthusiasm around a thing and in this case it's getting dealers to speak up and help one another yeah I love he is so let's call it what it is he does a great job promoting himself and and does a great job at his store so a lot of people respect him so I think a lot of people wanted to come see tracy and I got the again I got the I got the benefit of like, oh, hey, I'm over here too. So, you know, but at the end of the day, I think what happened was they were like, why don't we just add a day for you guys? And I don't want to speak for CIADA. I don't want to misspeak. But I think that's kind of what happened. So I think we're pretty much the whole first day. Yeah, very good. So it happens in Earl Beach, right? Yes. Yeah, Earl Beach. Yeah, at the time of you and I recording this, we're just a few weeks away. And so I expect we'll have a chance to put the word out more and more between now, because we definitely encourage dealers to get there for that. And the Carolinas do a tremendous job with their association out there and that event. So we know a lot of dealers will want to be there. And I confirmed when Tracy appeared with us on our morning show podcast that they don't need to be members of the CIEDA Association to attend your unfair advantage event. That's correct. That is correct. They can just go to unfairadvantagemastermind.com, learn a little bit more about it, see if it's for them. And then yeah, they can buy a ticket. They're pretty cheap. And I think I have a code. If anybody's watching this, I think I have like a deal. I know I do as a matter of fact, but I think I have a few left. my kind of discount code so if somebody wants to reach out to me and and get a ticket I can probably help them out with that you know one other thing if you don't mind me just kind of you know jumping in here one other thing that I think is really cool that we do and it it really benefits the whole audience but it typically benefits one dealer a year and we've had some amazing success stories with this we kind of get through most of the day and we kind of single out somebody who's had a lot of questions who's in a pretty good place with their business but needs a lot of help And we bring them up in front of the audience with their permission, of course. And we do what we call the hot seat. And I can tell you now that over the years, we've had some people in the hot seat that have they'll tell you it changed their life that day. We dig in and we're brutal. Like when I say brutal, we're like, why are you doing like, are you OK sitting here? Because it's a hot seat for a reason. Right. But then the other thing that we do after the whole entire audience can grill them, ask them, push them. Help them. You know, the goal is not to rip somebody apart. Somebody is to rip apart the whole to put it back together better for them. And what we encourage those people to do is is to reach out to us after the fact. You're not going to learn everything in a day. And, you know, the reason that Tracy and I started this was and this is genuine. Like people, I think some people think I'm full of crap when I say this. I say it every single year. The business has given me back everything I could ever ask for. Like it's paid every single one of my adult bills. I sold my first car at 18 years old. So it's just time to give back. You know, Tracy wants to give back. And so that room really is about a feel good day for us. And that's genuinely the reason we do it is let's go give back and hopefully. I love that. I really, really do. And it's an act of selflessness. We all know there's the world can do with a lot more of just like active giving, active giving, active giving, active giving. Um, without, without necessarily the expectation of return, but just like, let me, let me share, let me create so that you have, you know, make a living and, and carry on. Right. But when you can, uh, when you can give from some of the things that you've gained over that, you know, through that experience. All ships rise. Yeah. Yeah. Somebody picks up what we're throwing down and we can change a life or two and a hot seat. Anybody does any really digging on a hot seat people. I won't mention names here now, just to be fair. So somebody's phone doesn't ring off the hook or somebody wants to reach out to me and say, Hey, let me talk to a couple of your hot seat folks. I put them on the phone with them. They would go, you got to get to this thing and change my life. Yeah, for sure. Well, I'm sure just because we have one dealer in front of the room in the hot seat, when you ask that tough question of that dealer, there's a lot of people in the room saying, I'm glad they're not asking that of me because I know I need to deal with it. I know that, right, yeah. Yeah, it takes a special person to get in the hot seat. You know, it really does. They probably need to. But it works and it's... They probably want to put like blood pressure monitors on those folks and they put them in there. Yeah. Yeah. It's really cool. It's created some lifelong friendships for me, some lifelong, you know, I don't consider myself the mentor. It's just, I don't know, humbly. I don't really see my, but you know, they're always, thank you for your mentorship. Thank you for this. Thank you for that. And it's created these really great kind of just lifelong, beautiful relationships with people that it's changed their lives. Outstanding. Well, I know relationships are going to matter. It's just like the work that I do. It's like I don't I don't feel like I have to be the one with the answer, but I know who has the answer. Right. And a lot of times those people are in the room for you. Like you're able to turn and say, let's get an answer. You're a really established dealer. Let's get some feedback from them. Right. Or you can turn to others who have been there, done that. Right. Yeah. Yeah. No. And that's again, you know, to give full credit to the what Tracy built. It's not about him or I. We moderate a room full of really smart people and get the most out of it. Yeah. I get it. I understand. So, yeah, it sounds like a fantastic event. I wish I could be there this year. I look forward to being part of that in the future. I think it's something that if dealers are not too late to grab a flight or make plans to be there for August 1st and Myrtle Beach is a great place to hang out. Yeah, as you say, you know, where we have it, it's nice. We've had it there a few years. Obviously, CIADA thinks it's nice enough to have it for their annual convention and conference. And so, yeah, it's really nice. It's pretty easy to get to. I'll go out on and say, you know, look, I do really, truly feel because of how genuine this thing, you know, kind of was born from. And, and, You start with Tracy and his massive success and his ability to kind of teach that and give back. You know, humbly, you know, my experience with working with 175 dealers around the country between the two companies, you know, and then you add everybody else in the room that just kind of is there for the same reason, which is, you know, we're going to spend 10, 11 hours together, you know, or some crazy number. Like it's a real day of like, let's get out of here and go back and change your business. Right. Love it. Yeah, it's a great day. Yeah, it sounds like a fantastic event. I'm excited for you and forward to hearing how that goes. And we want to spread the word through our podcast. We'll continue to spread the word that that's coming up. Yeah, of course. We want to see you folks get there and sound like they can really have a positive impact on their business. So again, Troy, thanks for making time. We'll make sure our listeners know where to find you. Troy, as I mentioned on the start of the recording here, that Troy is a founder of Dealer World and they do full services marketing for some really some highline dealerships, some independent dealerships. They have kind of a full suite of marketing services. And so, you know, that's what you do day in and day out. We appreciate you making time to talk to us today. Yeah, no, listen, again, glad Tracy connected us. Thank you so much for kind of helping spread the word here, you know, through your podcast. That means a lot to us. And, you know, hopefully we can find ways to reciprocate. Awesome. Let me pull that down. So can I mention, he and I talked about a coupon code for the morning show. I don't know. I forgot to confirm with him before we hopped on this morning. But if you're signing up for the event, you can try hashtag or try the coupon code BHPHMS. I'll put it on the screen, but I'll confirm with him. And certainly if it doesn't work today, try to get it working. Yeah. Yeah. And I, well, I also wanted to, um, Tommy and, you know, we mentioned, uh, Tommy's, uh, was listening or is listening live today. Um, Tommy is the executive director for Marietta, um, which is the mid Atlantic IADA and Tracy Myers is their keynote speaker this year. Oh, nice. So, um, so, you know, if you, if, uh, to be able to kind of get into like, uh, how he thinks this it they're not doing one of these um forums masterminds but he's the keynote speaker so if you're interested in getting to know him a little bit better too uh head to the marietta conference because he's going to be the keynote speaker I want to throw something up there if you hop over on youtube and I want everybody to hop over on youtube find our channel Subscribe over there because that's where all the stuff lands. Like and subscribe. Like and subscribe. Like and subscribe. Well, you know, especially when there's charts and graphs and visual aids. The reason I bring this up is because Tracy Myers appeared on... Our podcast on July 5th, where we talked about a number of these kind of things. And I think if you want to understand who Mr. Myers is as a keynote speaker, then check out that podcast on July 5th. It was so fun. We had an exclusive. We got an exclusive. On the podcast. He unveiled his brand new patriotic hat. Yeah, that he had just gotten and he hadn't... Yeah, it was... And it was... It was a fantastic hat. I mean, everybody would love to have a hat like that. So I think it's at least on the Fourth of July weekend. It made us like, oh, man. You know, we, with White Hat Way being the overarching parent of everything that we create, it's like, all right. You know, we are, white hats, white cowboy hats are still in our roadmap that we will you know we will have the hats and it's funny here we created the white hat and I'm not really much of a hat wearer I really I do I love wearing hats but yeah I owned uh western hats when I was a kid maybe through early teenage years but on as a I was a farm and ranch and I wore more of a ball cap so let's um I was good why don't you wear hats very often honey Well, because, well, back then on the farm, it was the 80s and we had big hair and you couldn't really get the hat on over the big hair. So that was kind of the thing, was part of it. And a baseball cap, you can just like expand. Jim's got a, he's got a really big brain. Oh, yeah. Yeah. And so like we've gone to hat shops and he's like, you probably don't carry anything that's my size. And he gives the size and they go, no, sir, we can special order that. We'll send you to the freakishly large head store. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I mean, your head absolutely fits you. You're also six foot three and, you know, athletic big dude. So it's just... And very, very smart. I mean, you know, you got to have a lot of room up there if you're like the kind of smart that Jim is smart. This is being recorded. I'm going to save this for later. Honey, I stand behind everything that I just said. Is there... Okay, so... how do you, what do you want to wrap up with, uh, as far as that goes, that just, uh, your, your, uh, your coupon code. Um, so yeah, I'll throw it back on the screen, but, uh, yeah, that again, I'm not sure I'll confirm with Troy if it's not working now, I think they can get it working, but, uh, but that's just so that they can know that you, uh, you heard about the thing and you can, you can tell them in person, but, um, but yeah, we're, we're happy to support that event. It sounded like a really great educational opportunity for dealers. And so those that are, in that corner of the country it's a easy flight in a myrtle beach I think if you're not in in the driving distance but yeah that's uh it's a really fantastic opportunity and obviously the ciada event is a big deal too I i um side note but it's this it's a possum squirrels are like completely different possums are related okay so it's like a possum um the new uh buy here pay here conference format is it kind of more close close to what it is that they're doing kind of yeah they do round tables so it's a little bit smaller you know kind of Yeah, and it's not like you go listen to someone speak. It's like you're going and talking about specific subjects with different groups. Yeah, and they kind of have like table captains or table moderators. So it's a long... It's in that same... track um not exactly the same format but it's it's more along that same track rather than sitting in an audience listening to someone it's more interactive helping dealers and of course that's what we do with that's what we try yeah to create yep absolutely yeah it's your big group tomorrow we we do create it do it in the virtual format yeah yeah that's true so yeah again va tomorrow um jim's got his his big group which is um two they're uh five hundred to two thousand 500 to 2,000 accounts. And we're starting now a new group that size because that group filled up. We're almost ready to launch that one. Yeah, we've got a number of people that we should. I think we can actually get that one kicked off in the month of July. So if you're in that range of 500 to 2,000 accounts, reach out to me. We'd love to get you added. Yeah, super easy. Very affordable. Very affordable. Much easier. The data points are a fraction of what you would be using for a 20 group. I counted it. It's 24 numbers. It's 24 numbers that you submit for your component. And so you'd run like five reports and submit 24 numbers. And then we take it from there. Absolutely. And there's, um, yeah, yeah. And Jim's like totally with a lot of the people that get involved in V8. Um, if they're having, if they're struggling getting to their numbers that, you know, he's, he's, he's, sat with them and walked them through how to get to the stuff. Because we just want to have valid numbers. And then it's validated. Which means it's just spot checked to make sure that things look right. So I was just explaining that to a dealer on the phone the other day. To validate, they either give us access to their DMS or they email in or otherwise deliver to us the reports that we're used to produce numbers. Yep. All right. What else? I think that's it. Okay. Well, um, yeah. Recorded conversation with Gordy Tormullen. Yes. And that I'm, I'm looking forward to that. Cause there's, you know, we, we talk, uh, white hat way is, uh, is like a representation of the squiggly line side of this business of the industry. And it's the heart side. It's the intangible side. It's the relationship side. It's the connection side. It's not the side that you can pull a report from your DMS and say, this is the thing. And so, um, So I'm, you know, we always, uh, we set aside every Wednesday for, um, and, and we sometimes bring white hat topics outside of Wednesday, but that's the day that we do white hat Wednesday. Thank you, Tommy Brandes for that idea. And, um, And so, yeah, we'll be we'll be talking about something that that Jim and I have had many conversations about. And and it's and it's part of the conversation is something that is very close to my heart. Yeah. Um, so I'm looking forward to that conversation. So again, Wednesday we'll be putting out, uh, well, Wednesday it's recorded conversation that we had with Gordy at the national conference. And it's not, uh, you know, about, Hey Gordy, let's talk about all the stuff that's just specifically this, but we, we had some, some, um, we had just some interesting questions. There's, there's days you have conversations about the car business and there's days you have conversations about more than the car business. And, and that conversation with Gordy, I think is in that category for me. Yeah. So I look forward to that. Yeah, absolutely. Okay. Um, got anything else? Nothing else. All right. Well, Hey everybody, thank you so much for joining us today. We really appreciate you making us a part of your, um, um, And, yeah, it's the start of a new week. And, you know, mid-month, we're, yeah, we're. Go get after it. Yeah, go get after it. All right, enjoy your hot. Hopefully everyone's warm. Hopefully they're not too warm. And hopefully everyone down in Texas has got their power back. That's right. All right, we'll talk to you later. Thanks so much for joining us.
